Oaks Digital attend CIOF Wales event to promote digital marketing for charities
Last month, Oaks Digital headed to the annual Chartered Institute of Fundraising Cymru conference to exhibit and promote our digital marketing services for charities in Wales. The event took place at The Leonardo Hotel in Cardiff, and was well attended by many well-established charities in Wales such as Shelter Cymru, Hope Rescue, The Wallich and Alzheimer’s Society.
At the top of our agenda was promoting our monthly digital academy webinars, a fantastic free resource for charities and all organisations aiming to improve their digital marketing presence. We also showcased how we have recently worked with and supported Welsh charities such as Awen Trust, Shelter Cymru and Wildlife Trust Wales.

We had several interesting conversations with many charities to learn more about not only their digital aspirations, but also the amazing causes that they fundraise for and the challenges they face in pursuit of their mission. Fair to say that we were blown away by the collaborative nature of the event as each charity supported one another by sharing best practices and challenges experienced in recent years.
