Challenge Complete: Cardiff Half Marathon fundraiser for Shelter Cymru
We’re delighted to share that our company director, Mark, has successfully completed the Cardiff Half Marathon, taking on 13.1 miles to raise money for our charity partner Shelter Cymru.
After weeks of training, preparation and plenty of miles under his belt, race day finally arrived — and he crossed the finish line in 2 hours, 24 minutes and 58 seconds.
Running for Shelter Cymru
More important than the time was the money and awareness raised for Shelter Cymru, a charity working across Wales to help people facing homelessness and housing problems.
Shelter Cymru provides vital advice, support and advocacy to people who are struggling with their housing, while also campaigning for everyone in Wales to have a safe and secure home.
Taking part in the half marathon was a great opportunity to support that work while taking on the running challenge around our beautiful capital city.

Mark’s Enthuse page has generated more than £750 in donations, with your contributions supporting Shelter Cymru to:
- Answer 75 calls to their telephone helpline, often the first port of call for those who need housing advice.
- Provide 30 people with face-to-face advice services, giving them the support they need to find & keep a home.
- Help provide free legal advice to three families, defending their safe place of refuge.
