    Google Ads case study

    World Accessible Holidays are a specialist tour operator providing accessible holidays to their customers at high street prices. Founders Paula and Steve Hansen are passionate about making holidays abroad accessible as a fundamental aspect to the holiday booking process. Their first-hand experience of traveling with their wheelchair-using son means that they understand how difficult it is to find a holiday that meets the specific requirements of their customers.     Client Requirements

    World Accessible Holidays have a fully functioning website that wasn’t developed by Oaks Digital, but that didn’t stop us helping them on the marketing front. Like so many other businesses they needed to reach more people and generate more sales through their website in order to achieve their business growth aspirations.

    After approaching Oaks Digital and sharing their website performance data with us, we quickly identified that a PPC campaign with a particular focus on Google ads would be the best approach for driving more relevant website traffic and generating more sales.

    The Results

    Oaks Digital quickly set up conversion tracking on the World Accessible Holidays website so that we could monitor direct sales conversions from the new PPC campaign. In doing so we are able to provide World Accessible Holidays with monthly reports on performance, what optimisation work had been carried out, and what optimisation work we planned for the upcoming month so that everything is measurable and transparent.

    Having this in place has enabled us to track a 367.77% gross profit Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) in the first 6-months of the campaign being live. Working closely with World Accessible Holidays and having regular catch ups every quarter allow us to discuss and agree on ongoing approaches that will further improve their targeted ads campaign as well as conversion rates from their website.

    We have been using Oaks Digital for a while now and we are seeing a marked improvement in the leads coming in to the business and the quality of leads. The team there are always ready to listen and pivot, they give great advice and really feel like they are part of our business - our own digital marketing department. We have adjusted approach using regular reporting and meetings to see what is working or not which ensures we can move quickly on opportunities. Our metrics have been improving month on month which is what we asked for.

    We also love the training sessions Mark gives on subjects like SEO and Social Media because we can get hands on when we want to, knowing that they are there supporting us.
