PPC Campaign

Shelter Cymru is a charity in Wales that focuses on helping people experiencing housing emergencies by offering free, confidential, and independent advice, legal support, and advocacy for a better housing system. They work to ensure everyone in Wales has a safe and secure home, campaigning for policy changes and supporting individuals with housing issues.

The Brief

Shelter Cymru approached Oaks Digital with a need to grow awareness and drive public fundraising support for their annual winter appeal campaign. The Shelter Cymru winter appeal raises funds to help support individuals and families facing or experiencing homelessness during the hardest months of the year.

To help support this amazing charity, Oaks Digital were required to drive traffic and donations via a Google ads campaign to reach audiences across Google search, You Tube and the wider Google Display Network.

The Solution

Oaks Digital worked closely with Shelter Cymru to deliver a seasonal winter campaign that:

– Included initial keyword research and ad copy creation to provide the best potential for success
– Involved conversion tracking set up so that results could be tracked with transparency
– Showcased over 10.5k Shelter Cymru adverts to a targeted audience in Wales
– Generated over 1.35k click-throughs to their winter appeal landing pages
– Achieved a direct return on investment from over 300 public donations
– Also generated monthly subscription sign ups for repeat donations
